Reflecting on my past 2 years, as I prepare to head to California for My Mythic Voyage III

Reflect on the transformation, the life of this butterfly.

I walked down my stairs
With intention to find something to clear out
To my surprise
There he was, in his full glory

Only his front two hands
Were grasped around my throat
His expression was calm
As he had been there
Me, his puppet
For 25 years

His back two arms attached
And ran deep into the walls of my subconscious
He was a giant black cape for my back
His back body floated up and attached to the ceiling above my head

He knew it was time.

Without a fight
He took his hands from my throat
I then began to pull his darkness from both sides
Pulling pulling pulling
I pulled it out of the ceiling
I gathered his darkness into a bundle

*Squeeze*

I hugged it
“Thank You”

Into the box and out the door.

I was exhausted

I rubbed rose oil on the wounds
And watched them begin to heal

When I reached the top of my stairs
I voice firmly says:


“I think what you need is to get back out in the world.”
